You have most likely heard about, seen billboards for, or even met Nathan Fitts because he is an icon in the real estate industry for North Georgia. Today, we are going to dive a little deeper into his background and learn more about this hard-working, intelligent, and dare we say, easy-on-the-eyes man!
Nathan Fitts was born and raised in Blue Ridge, Georgia. In fact, his family has resided in these beautiful mountains for more than four generations. A graduate of Fannin County High School, he continued his education at Truett McConnell University graduating with a degree in business. The consummate entrepreneur, Nathan has owned and operated several businesses, including a restaurant and bar, a hotel, and of course Nathan Fitts & Team.
Nathan is widely known as an expert in real estate, serving the North Georgia area for twenty years. Whether he is assisting a buyer or seller in a residential or commercial transaction, Nathan goes the extra mile for each of his clients. This businessman is very accomplished professionally, but his passion is his family. Nathan is very close to his parents and his sister and fellow realtor, Julie Fitts Queen, along with his nieces and nephew. However, the pride and joy of Nathan’s life is being a father to his twin sons, Grant & Logan. Although the young men are now both off to college, Nathan looks forward to every opportunity he gets to spend time with them. You never know, they might just follow in their Dad’s footsteps and continue in the family real estate business.
Because the Blue Ridge community helped to form his life, it is important for Nathan to both give back and help his town continue to flourish. He serves as a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of North Georgia, was a founding member of the Blue Ridge Lodging Association and is active in many other charitable organizations, including the Appalachian Children’s Center and the Easter Seals. Additionally, Nathan’s care and concern about the city of Blue Ridge’s future and his dedication to the families, businesses, and residents of Fannin County, he ran and was elected for the Blue Ridge City Council.
